The highly effective, multi-layer filters of the IDEAL air purifiers catch almost everything: Chemical compounds and molecular toxins, as well as fine and very fine particles. These also include viruses and bacteria. The filters are particularly effective against particles of MPPS size ("most penetrating particle size" of 0.3 microns in diameter) and even smaller particles of 0.1 microns in diameter.
